DC Comics hasn’t put out enough movies yet. Marvel had the ground work laid out with iron man, hulk, Thor, and captain america movies. DC only has 1 modern super man movie done and its hardly ground work for the justice league

I completely agree. DC needs to do the groundwork if they are going even attempt to come close to Marvels success with The Avengers. They’re rebooting Superman again with Henry Cavill as Clark Kent in ‘Man of Steel’. It comes out next year with Zack Snyder directing. I will be interested to see how it performs at the box office. I think it will be a good test to see how interested in the JL characters the audience is. DC has a big job ahead making people love these characters. Green Lantern pretty much bombed so they have to make it big with Man of Steel. If it tanks, they shouldn’t even try for a JL movie IMO.

(as a side note, I fear the hell out of a Wonder Woman movie. I LOVE WW, and they could so easily fuck that up)

  2. giantsblood said: Yeah i forgot about green lantern (must have repressed that memory). but your right until DC can come up with a fan base and at least a couple of truly loved characters they are doomed to fail at a JL movie. which would be sad to say the least.
